Artist's Comments

No refs or short cuts used. I'm sure I'm going to have some withdrawal symptons with not having it to work on anymore.

The story behind this ... it kind of arose out of me trying to see if I could draw the same figure again and again from different poses ... well, to cut it short, I ended up liking the figure I was drawing and ideas developed ... this guy (nicknamed Trent) came into creation because of it.

The basic tale of this moment is in the print description but I'd rather you conjure up your own thoughts as to the story because I think, there are many ways of looking at it. Anyway, enjoy my friends! Comments always welcome. :D

Conversion by *lunarsparks is an amazing example of extreme details and patience! This original work is brilliant and really had me thinking about the whole story that could surround this one character. Quite captivating! (Suggested by `bitchinblack and Featured by `cosmosue)

I'm gonna make up my own story behind it and compose it now!

There were gangsters and poor old trent got caught up in them whilst working for MI6. These wern't your average gangsters no they had a proper hideout with all different scientists in the gang. They wanted these scientists to make the most painful way of torturing someone who opposed the gansters. What thses scientists came up with was live wires. They would pump millions of volts of electricity into these wires that made them live and would grab hold of anything it touched whilst electricuting these peopl ... ok it's not a kind of tourture anymore it's more like painful instand death but ya know.

your picture is real powerful so it just make an impression in me ^_^ CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Good Lord! Those wires must have driven you mad! The body language is amazing, so is the general 3D feel of it. I am fond of the subtle shading on the hand. It really draws my attention.
Good job!

wow, this is incredible. the expression on his face has so much feeling and emotion.....all the cords around him are so detailed...this must have taken ages....i know of a competition you SHOULD enter this in if ur interested. all the cords look like they are creatures, trying to take him over...it looks like he has no chance. this would look amazing as a really big poster!!! Such talent girl!!! xoxoxoxo

Oh My...wow um wow... I was not extpecting to come arcoss this in my devations. I question you sanity on the amount of wires in this XD. Well first of all you without a doubt captured the emotion and I must say hes petrified for sure. If had to think of a story to go with this I would say its some sort of supper hero story. Like he works at some type of power plant but instead of toxic waste hes falls into the wires and gets his supper power. The amount of detail in this is massive and every wire is outlined and colored to perfection. I'm still at aww just looking at it and wish I had that kind of time and patiences :P. Now I know now why you haven't submitted anything for a while lol. I really can't find a word to describe this other then completely amazing.

Hehe, very interesting story and with a lot of imagination ... has gangsters and everything! :XD: I like it. Your right about the torture ... I don't think you'd get out of it alive.

Thanks Kikitue. :thanks: I'm glad it made that much of an impression on you. That story was fun.

I think that's an understatement to say it drove me mad. :giggle: The wires were indeed the worst part.

I am pleased with the hand overall, especially after changing it a few times. Thanks Kari. :aww:
