I've always wanted to draw an elephant. I enjoyed working on this as the texture of the elephant's skin is quite different. It's something I would also like to do again. Used my own photographic references.

Its awsome It almost looks just like a back and white photo. You did an amazing job with the texture and shading I have lots of trouble with shading with pencils so I think you did a wonderful job on this.

oh, wow! You got exceptional skills using pencils! I remember the little mouse with the scary detail and now this! It's almost like it's been traced from the real photo. I had some fine art lessons trying to put statues on paper and I know how hard it is to do something like that. well done!
Oh my, he's so adorable! He actually looks like he's smiling ^^ The little details are great, like the wrinkles and cracks in the skin and the thin hairs on the lower lip. I love the foreshortening on the trunk, it's like I can reach out and touch him *-*
