Artist's Comments

I know, I love my colour! :XD: I wanted to work with some contrast colours too. Though my main aim was to practice foreshortening in which I used my own arms as ref since I wanted to get it right.

Apart from that, I have nothing else to add ... just that I wish I could have done something better with the butterflies ... oh and that's supposed to be a bamboo flute ... :D

The colors! Just lovely! For some reason the hair streaks remind me of my childhood ^.^

Leigh, she's a killer! From the soft face with gently applied makeup to the way her hair drifts over the shoulders, you've made another beauty. It makes me wonder how she'd look at a rumpled moment, when the wind hasn't caught her just right as in the pose. She's got obvious taste in accessories, too.

The arms are exceptionally good, as is the fore-hand. As for the hand with the flute, it's a fun light grip. Does the pinky bend so far it disappears behind the hand? The fingers behind are a little tough to label, I'm figuring the upper one is the middle finger. A little expansion at the knuckle might help, or maybe a bit more curve to what's visible. Or maybe I just have long fingers :P

Still digging it ;)
