Something for the contest. I had been planning a fan art of Lara for the longest time and this was a great opportunity to have a go. Of course there's tons of things I would have done to it if I had all the time in the world, but I have a tendency to fiddle too much with details so it's probably a good thing.

I wanted to show her in a moment of collapse but with an air of persistence and hopeful determination.

I'm pretty certain I'll still want to do another painting of Lara in the future, but completely different.

Wow ....... This is terrific work - The details/composition and overall balance to the piece is outstanding - Feeling the mood as well when viewing - you sure have accomplished what u were aiming for regards to " moment of collapse but with an air of persistence & hopeful determination" - she may be down but shes not out , her gutsy expression tells you that ......... I now know how good you really are at art Lunar , or should I say exceptional @ art - It wasnt until I started to create my own work that you begin to understand & appreciate even more the skills and talent that goes into the works you create .. Been a member on here for 5 years and there aint many members out there that can match or even surpass ur talent ...... Ur right up there with the best ....... :) x
